Description: Want to become a Master of the Bullion Knot Stitch in a day? Then this is the class for you!
Come spend a hands-on day stitching alongside Mama Lohde as you create your very own Billy the Bullion Bunny— a charming wool appliqué and embroidery project inspired by the gentle joys of springtime. Billy is happiest when the meadows turn green and the fields are full of fresh clover, and this sweet design captures that quiet, contented feeling—sunny days, slow stitching, and a favorite thread close at hand.
This creative and inspiring workshop introduces students to essential wool appliqué techniques and a variety of embroidery stitches used throughout the design.
Students will work at a comfortable pace, with plenty of demonstrations, individual guidance, and encouragement. By the end of class, you’ll not only have a well-started bunny, but also a deeper understanding of stitch structure, thread behavior, and how to use decorative stitches with confidence.
This class is a celebration of slow stitching, thoughtful design, and the joy of learning new techniques in a relaxed, supportive environment. Students will leave inspired, empowered, and excited to continue stitching long after class ends.
